Innovative packaging always attracts me to new products, which is why I was initially drawn to Votre Vu's Duette Luxe Lip Balm and Hand Creme, VotreVu.com. The tube of hand cream features a dual cap, where the lip balm and small mirror is housed, then you flip open the other cap and you can get the hand cream out.
The hand cream smells amazing. It's described by Votre Vu as a coconut and almond fragrance but it's more like cake batter or vanilla cupcakes. If you like sweet scents it's amazing because it smells real. You know how some scents are like fake cake batter, this is like being in the middle of the kitchen while Gram is baking. The lip balm is plain and simple, to me it doesn't smell like anything. It just moisturizes your lips without being super shiny so your man will want you to share.
I took this hand cream to work to let my fellow nurses try it out and just about everyone loved it. Only one person didn't because she doesn't like any sweet scents, so obviously this wasn't the product for her. But the rest of the ladies, loved the scent and it gave the locker room a delicious scent and drew everyone who got a whiff in to see what was going on. As far as moisturizing your hands, it gets the job done but when you're washing your hands about 20 times an hour it's hard to get anything to really keep chapped skin at bay, but this was something I didn't mind re-applying.
