I have a confession, I love using products meant for natural hair (read: no relaxer) on my relaxed hair.  Usually, products meant for natural hair focus on restoring moisture to super dry hair.  My relaxed hair needs all the moisture it can get, moisturized hair is easier to manage and is less prone to breakage so you can understand why I love moisturizing products. The newest natural hair care brand that I've tried out is Uncle Funky's Daughter.  I absolutely love the name of this hair care line, plus they also have a salon out in Houston Texas.

I had the pleasure of trying out Rich & Funky Moisturizing Cleanser and Midnite Train Leave-In Conditioner.  Keep on reading for the product descriptions and review!

Product Descriptions:

Rich & Funky Moisturizing Cleanser - All pause when you walk into the room with supple curls cleansed by our Rich and Funky Moisturizing Cleanser. A 'truly' sulfate-free, foamy cleanser that delivers loads of moisture and detangling effects. Long-lasting, concentrated formula with a clean, fresh natural scent.

Midnite Train Leave-In Conditioner - Your tresses will be leavin' on the Midnite Train to gorgeous with our hydrating leave-in conditioner. Strengthens dry, brittle strands and provides easier combout. Great for daily use on wet or dry hair.

AHS - I used the Rich & Funky Moisturizing Cleanser after sleeping overnight with a henna treatment in my hair.  If you've ever used henna you know how your hair can feel hard and lack softness, plus the henna is hard to get out sometimes.  I loved this shampoo because it added softness and thoroughly cleansed my scalp and hair.  The henna was easy to remove with this shampoo.  This shampoo has some pretty awesome ingredients like Willow Bark extract to stimulate cell growth and has excellent astringent qualities. As well as, Calendula for it's anti-inflammatory properties combat tissue degeneration and leave hair nourished and manageable.  The Midnite Train Leave-In Conditioner is great too.  I like that it's in a spray style bottle because it makes it really easy to use.  It smells great and moisturizes like a dream.  The first three ingredients are Water, Glyercin, and Aloe Juice awesome right?  Since this Leave-In Conditioner is water based I would only use it when I'm rocking an air-dried 'do since I wouldn't want it to make my rollerset frizzy.
